"THE MAN OF THE SITE"
My name is Brady LeSueur and my aspirations are to be involved in the field of media. I grew up in Orange County, California until I was 15 and then finished High School in Highland, Utah. I have been filming movies and playing with video cameras since I was 12, and completing video projects, as class homework and for High School level Film Festivals, since I was a Sophomore. I love writing and accomplishing these type of projects. I enjoy being a cameraman and helping come up with ideas to make a movie or project more interesting and tell a really exciting story.
I enjoy working with people on all media based projects, and doing whatever it takes to be effective in completing the task and make it the best it can be. During my senior year at Lone Peak High School, I got involved in our newly created Radio Station, where we, in groups of four students, made multiple hour long programs, within the class time. I then spent a semester at BYU Idaho where I was able to work, off camera, on the Campus News Broadcast. After that semester I served a two year mission ('08-'10) for the LDS Church in South Africa, from Cape Town, all along the coast, to a city called Mthatha (Umtata) and back.
I started attending Utah Valley University (UVU) in 2011 majoring in Digital Media with an emphasis in Cinema Productions. I was able to take classes learning about Animation, Photography, and Digital Design using computer programs associated to those areas of media including Photoshop, InDesign, and Maya. During my university schooling I was able to use programs including AVID, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Flash, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, Adobe Photoshop, Text Wrangler (for a Web making class), Celtx, and iDVD.
I received my Associate's Degree in Digital Communications Technology in May of 2014. After which, I continued my studies at UVU, working towards a bachelor's degree in the Communications program, where I wanted to improve my writing skills, script writing, interpersonal communication, and public relations. I officially received my Bachelor's degree in August of 2016 with an emphasis in Public Relations.
All in all, I feel like media is really my area of expertise and comfort. It's something that I want to keep immersing myself in and better understand so that I can improve not only my interests but also various skills I have in each area. Movies have always been my goal since I first touched a video camera. My experience in high school, my college studies, and my future education as I complete my undergraduate degree are all giving me a more rounded skill set to accomplish my goals.
